Dr Sarah Whittingham has given numerous lectures and talks on subjects such as the architect Sir George Oatley, Bristol architects (including Henry Dare Bryan), architecture (‘Fin de Siecle: Bristol 1900’) and the Victorians’ passion for ferns. Summer schools

In 2005 and 2006 Sarah directed ‘East or West, Hame’s Best’: The Victorian and Edwardian House in the West Country, a week-long residential adult Summer School for Bristol University.
